If you live in Woodhaven then you know that 85th deli has the best deli sandwiches hot or cold in the neighborhood. And if you don't live in Woodhaven/ don't know, now you know! This is a deli located right below 85th st. Train station on the J line. You can find your local newspaper, drinks, chips, candy, canned goods, cleaning & toiletries products, scratch offs, & your favorite bodega cat chillin' here! Saturday's are meant for relaxing& eating out! Today my partner and I ordered a BLT with onions, ketchup, mayo salt& pepper toasted on a roll and a sausage egg and cheese with mayo toasted on a roll. We absolutely enjoyed our breakfast and I do enjoy that 85th panini presses their sandwiches. If you're ever here, I would highly suggest ordering a chopped cheese with everything or an 85th sandwich! Super delicious and classic!

This is a great deli. Love the people there. They always make you feel welcome and always have a few laughs with you. The sandwhiches are really good and they have some unique choices. Needless to say i have tried alot of their sandwhiches and am yet to be disappointed. They put as much care into your sandwich as they do customer service. I frequent this deli and plan on going there any chance i get.
I usually have roastbeef with mozzarella ,lettuce&tomatoes. I couldn't wait to take bites before pic. Sorry
This Deli is the ISHH. I LOVE 85th street Deli (I have never loved another deli before). 85th street deli has great specials on all the food they make. They have sandwiches on a roll and a soda for only 3 bucks and they use all Boars Head products. They have alot of other delicious things like wings, steak sandwiches, fries, chicken sandwiches, and so many other things. Everything is at a great price and they aren't stingy with how much they put in it eiher. I order grilled cheeses in the morning and when I tell you that grilled cheese is like stuffed with deliciously melted boars head american cheese its great. The sandwiches are loaded with ham (or w.e. you order) and cheese not like other places that give you a roll with a slice of ham and one slice of cheese. The owners are very friendly and so are the guys that make the food. Everything is made to order so if you do want something that takes some time to cook call and place the order. At some point they were doing deliveries and that was HEAVEN ON EARTH but then they stopped I believe the delivery guy isn't there anymore but I am still willing to place the order and then go get it.I have about 5 other delis between my home and 85th street deli but rather go there than any other.
85th Street Deli is always top quality. I enjoy their chipotle hot hero with curly fries and mozzarella sticks. The crew is always happy to talk and even after midnight seem busy. Absolutely love the service and the food quality at this location. They're the first deli I go to, even though they're 10 blocks from my house and I pass 10 other delis to get to them.
